Sports Grant
Blackshaw Moor CofE First School receives the full sports premium grant each year. This money is spent in a variety of ways:
- Training for teachers leading to a better understanding of how to teach PE and acquisition of a widening array of skills.
- Employment of specialist teachers for PE, Dance and Gymnastics – children receive a more specialist curriculum.
- Purchase of a wider array of equipment for PE lessons and break times – children have a wider array of active activity choices during their free time.
- New storage facilities – children are able to select their own activities during playtime.
