Dear Parents,

Welcome to our school website. Our most recent Ofsted inspection said that we are a small school with a big ambition for our pupils and we would love to welcome you into our school to experience this for yourselves.  Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make, as a school plays such a large part in your child’s life, guiding and supporting your child, encouraging their learning and helping them to develop into the adult they will become.

At Blackshaw Moor CofE First School we inspire all to flourish through learning together, and with God’s help and love, have life in all its fullness. The whole school community lives through our values of courage, trust, compassion, friendship, truthfulness and respect as inspirational staff, supporting parents and carers, and special pupils come together in our caring and nurturing environment.

Our aim is to ensure that all our pupils have an enriching and exciting time through a well-planned creative curriculum which includes an extensive enrichment curriculum and spiritual and personal development as well as following the guidance of the National Curriculum.

Our very experienced staff are attentive and responsive to our pupils when they need help and offer support to ensure all can achieve and reach their full potential. We aim to instil the love of learning through the experiences we offer.
