Blackshaw Moor First School has Busy Bees Class, a Foundation Stage Class which educates nursery and reception children, Clever Cats Class, a key stage 1 class of year 1 and 2 children and Wise Owls Class, a key stage 2 class of year 3 and 4 children.
The school can admit children to the Nursery as soon as they are 3 years old for up to 15 or 30 hours depending on circumstances. Parents can choose whether they have morning, afternoon or full day sessions and can have more than 15 hours through our extended school provision where payment is made for the additional hours. A lunch club is available for children who do full days or for parents who want slightly longer sessions in a morning or afternoon.
