School Uniform
It is not the policy of the Education Committee to make compulsory the wearing of any distinctive clothing or uniform; but all pupils are required to attend school appropriately dressed and for the assistance of parents many schools have adopted guidelines on dress.
Blackshaw Moor encourages all children to wear our adopted uniform which consists of a yellow polo shirt and navy blue sweatshirt embossed with the school logo. Trousers and dresses should be black or grey. Skirts navy, black or grey.
Sensible footwear must be worn at all times (not trainers).
To participate fully in physical education, PE kits should comprise of a plain white t-shirt with navy/black shorts, black pumps and warm tracksuit bottoms for outdoors in colder months.
All items of shoes and clothing must be clearly labelled with your child’s name to prevent any clothing being lost.
It is advisable for our youngest children to wear warm clothing as many of their activities take place outside.
All children need a school bag.
